Because the love affair between women and her jewellery box, dresses and footwears, traditionas can never go out of fashion. But because the new India is trying to strike a balance between culture and fashion, tradition has reappeared in its new avtars.

If we talk about the women's coutures, traditional embroideries like zari, kundan, sequins, patch work, mirror work, zardozi, chikankkari, dupka work, jall work etc are now used in new styles. We can find these traditional embroideries on sexy stylish tops, backless blouses making them look trendy. Thus changing the face of tradition indian fashion.

Not only coutures are changing their styles, jewellery which is considered women's best friend is also changing its style. Kundan or the art of setting gemstones on enamelled 24 carrat gold bases is back. Green, yellow, blue, red and pink meenakari highlight the natural lustre of uncut stones. Designs are heavy.

Embroidered juttis are also very trendy. So friends our traditions and its fashion have not gone anywhere. It's just a matter of some modifications that took place.
